Power equals corruption. That is my final theme. Golding explains to readers that Jack craves power. The more he has he becomes more evil and does things his own way, he doesn't care what others think and no one will get in his way. Jack and all his power disrupts the whole island and creates a disaster at the end of the novel. What do you think of this? Thanks so much for all the comments. Corrections would be a bonus :)
