Does this person look "cheap"? ?

Ok...I got my hair done and I did it a different style this time. Instead of my braids curly, I got it wavy. I don't like the way it turned out. Do I look "cheap"? Oh and my face is blurred.

i think the braids look, looks cheap in general... I'd say stay away from that and like get an actual nice hairstyle. something more simple like have ur hair straight or soft waves... and have it cut so it has body and bounce.... like the saying "less is more" and the braids just takes away from a persons face cuz its distracting.

Braids look cheap regardless, all tho women pay $100+ for box braids. Braids are out of style, i hate to talk about fashion as being out and in, but braids are really not in style now, how many girls you see wearing braids now a days. Everyone is into the weave

Are you really that sad enough to the general impression of what most americans think by going to the cultural section of Y!A? The western culture as been recognizing alternative beauty (other then blue eyes blonde hair) for some time now. I mean why do you even want / need the approval of society, or a group of people you'll never know if you know your beautiful.   Honestly I couldnt care less, what some guy in califorina thinks of my kinda of beauty, only thing I care about is what my boy friend or husband thinks of me.

It does not make you look cheap, but it is not flattering for you.  It makes your face look too large.  Try something less drastic and softer.

the answers you got in the "cultures section" were just as positive as the one's you got here. i'm sure there are some people who thing that only "european" hair is attractive, but clearly they're not the majority here. so you asked a question, expecting to get negative answers... and you didn't, good for you. i'm blonde, i think you're hair is great. stop yelling at me.

i think it's tragic that so many girls get perms and weaves so that they're hair looks straight and soft. so many different things are beautiful, i love my hair, but i think that yours looks great. it's sad that it seems like we can't say one thing is good/beautiful/attractive without saying that everything else isn't.
