  1. Yes, patience is a virtue

    wait awhile and

    you'll know...patience

    is for the other guy!

  2. But it is cute.

  3. great wordplay!

  4. Reminds me of a contact on here who shared a saying his grandfather taught him, "Patience is a virgin."

    I loved that! Maybe THAT'S a con-verb!!!!

    ma

  5. I would call it wordplay, rather than a Con-verb.

  6. That is a proverb, with a positive message. The Con of this Pro would be something like:

    Patience is virtue

as long as I'm first in line

  7. Thanks, ma -you beat me to it! Grandpa's probably looking down & laughing right now.

Yeah, I don't think this qualifies as a con-verb so much as a play on words.

  8. Verbs that originate from

    jail cells

    are con-verbs.

    they are typically obscene.

  9. Sign in an ER waiting area - "Have Patients, While U Wait" not anything remotely like "shoes repaired while u wait"

    Sailor's Sea Stories

Don't hold a lot of water (a Jellzizm)

To have patience is all very well,

but I don't have time for that sort of attitude.

    Frankly it sickens me.
