I'm delighted to assist you with your Refund Request. We hope that you

found our service useful and enjoyable even for a short period of time.

Upon reviewing your account, our records show that you indeed cancelled

your subscription within the free trial period. However, please

understand that canceling your subscription alone, even though it is

within the free trial period, will not automatically refund the charge

on your card.

If we have received the request for cancellation during that time, we

could have refunded the full amount incurred.

Moreover, I found that you subscription has ended on 05/31/2007. We

regret to inform you that since the Cancellation period has passed and

your subscription has ended, our system can no longer issue a refund to

your card.

  1. First, phone your visa and put a "stop payment" on that transaction. Visa probably knows them by now and they will give you a phone number to call with regard to the transaction.

    Second:

Phone them and quote "I'm delighted to assist you with your Refund Request." and have them follow through with their claim. (If they are delighted, they are probably really happy people)

  2. No, but then again, I am not looking to put money into Yahoo!'s bank account.

  3. What the -- call them and spoeak to a REAL person, and threaten to report them to the better business bureau.
