I want to be able to rip DVDs so i can watch them on my Z when i go on vacation. Does this sound safe?

Get DVD SHRINK.

It is free and is fast and not much quality loss at all.

It will shrink the bigger dvd disk down to a standard 4.7g also.

you can also remove ads, menu, or simply just burn the movie itself instead of the entire dvd.
