Does this seem valid or a scam? Paid to search online?

Hey! I just registered with this website called Homepages Friends. The website claims that you get paid 3p for every time you search online! Well, I've been searching a lot in the last few days and I've earnt about £5 already. I've just suddenly wondered if this is a waste of time and it's all a scam? Has anyone heard of this website and if it will actually payout??

Unfortunately, you will not likely receive any compensation for all your efforts.  Instead, you may have opened up your incoming email box to SPAM.

You should go to the link only when you type it in your yahoo task bar never respond to it through your email system. When you go to the link look for a contact button , see what the contact info is. There at least should be a telephone # to call. . I run my own Internet based business. On my contact button you will see my email address ,name, and cell phone number. I expect all businesses to do the same . If I cannot contact them by phone then i do not bother. I have yet to find a business like the one you mention that pays and it probably has fine print that states "you must first earn $100 before we can send you a check.
