Does this sentence make sence?

The match is a source of energy that combines the gas from the oxygen and the gas from the alcohol. When the two gasses mix they combusted - or bursted into a flame making a "woosh" sound.

I wana know about the second sentence "i threw in the first so could kinda understand wat i was talking about

Is "Combust" or "burst". Unless you are talking in your sentence about something that happened in the past then you would have to change some other words and leave "cumbusted" and "burst", because burst is an irregular verb and it does not change. If you are trying to write your sentence in present then you would have to change it to the first example I gave you.

You need to get your tenses in order...

But other than that, yes it does make sense.
