Question:

Does this short job description sound legal? Should my red flags be going up?

I got a job offer, and in a nutshell this is what it entails:

"Accepting and sending parcels"

"Stay home during post services work hours"

This is the part that rose a red flag...."since it is sometimes difficult to make a warrant, you will have to take the parcel directly from the postman not in the office"

"we offer $40 for every SENT parcel, we pay all expenses not including packaging"

I don't quite understand, and would appreciate some input about this. Does it sound weird or is it just me?

  1. Scam

They use stolen credit cards to buy stuff

    Send it to your address

You then forward it to a 3rd address, in Africa or somewhere

Later the cops show up, and there is no sign of the others

  2. A little weird but i ended up in a illegal job once and if you can prove you dident know that it was illegal (not hard if its part way through your first day) you will just get a warning from the law.

  3. I would be very careful nowadays people can't be trusted. You don't want to end up getting scammed !!

  4. DONT DO IT!!!!!!

  5. if you feel strange, that I would not enter this cold, because, for me those things are in black and white, or there's takes here.

  6. It's just another scam.

Let me guess.... it's from 'out of America'??

    RUN away from it.

  7. Who does this?

Sounds too good to be true.

Sounds like a dead letter drop.

    Highly Illeagal.

Suggest you get the name of the company and call the postal inspectors Office and inquire about the leagality of the named company.

And keep searching till you find out what is what.
