  1. Probably a phishing website. Stay far away.

  2. No, it's a china based website selling counterfeits.  You're correct about stealing the navigation bar, and that's not the only thing they have stolen. This is the answer I gave a while ago:

According to the main site, the Kanacca Company is based in China and they sell everything from electronics to lingerie. They work with factories in several different Chinese cities to bring together all types of merchandise. It appears that what they sell is copies of brand names. The merchandise is shipped from China, and there will be additional shipping charges and possible border fees, import taxes, and international duties added onto that too good to be true price. The name of one site owned by this conglomerate: "kanacca's secret" is a clue. It's a poor rip-off of the more famous "Victoria's Secret" brand and the two are not connected in any way. But they use the word secret in the name to trick you into thinking they are connected.

I am always skeptical of Chinese websites selling brand names as too good to be true prices. As often as not these items are counterfeit, not true brand name, cheap quality and poorly made. They aren't always up-front about the cost of importing, and in some instances people have had shipments stopped at the borders and they never receive their merchandise. Because these sites are international, consumer fraud laws of the USA and Canada don't apply to them.

In my opinion, the saving offered by many of these questionable sites that constantly spam Yahoo answers are not worth it. Like the old cliché: If it seems to good to be true; it probably is. I prefer to patronize North American retailers, they may be a bit more expensive, but you have legal protection against fraud that these Chinese sites can't offer.

And don't trust some of the people who give a positive answer, check their profiles; most are spammers for this company and all their answers will be a link to the company.

Edit to add: The site is under investigation for it's shady practises in counterfeiting wedding gowns.  Here are a couple articles I've found: http://secondcitystyle.typepad.com/secon...

  3. I don't know, really, but I SOOO want that brown dress in the middle.

  4. You're right. Its a little...creepy. I can't put my finger on it.

I feel like if I buy something from there I am selling myself to them to become one of those creepy looking plastic models.

  5. the cover page looks unreliable but the rest of the store looks pretty much ok.

i think it can be trusted; the copied-coverpage thing is probably just a way to attract more customers =)
