I'm going to have a 17th birthday in october and I will probably invite probably 5 friends on a surprise trip to a show at the Planetarium then after out to eat at a wicked nice resturant for a resonable amount of money. I'm obessed with Space and everything that has to do with it...but thats me. Say if you were to go would you enjoy yourself. I hate to drag people where they don't want to be.

  1. i know its ur birthday but make sure it is what they want to do too.

if they are your friends they wont mind where they go as long as you are happy on your birthday, its for 1 day not a week so im sure they would do that for you, you will all have a great time, its something different, not your normal day out, so i would think of it as an experience, it may not have been somewhere they would choose for their birthday but its about who you are with and hey they might learn something

  2. Chicago has a great Planetarium.  I get there once every five years or so.  If you are treating, I think your friends would love it.

  3. If you were my friend, and it was your birthday, I would enjoy being with you, wherever that might be.  Your friends must know you are into space stuff, so, why would they not enjoy it?  I would expect my friends to tell me if they were not interested as I would not want to hear their nagging to leave on top of their being bored to tears. But I personally am not into Space stuff, yet I have seen every space movie, been to the Kennedy Space Center several times and I do it all cheerfully for those I care about!  Don't ask me any particulars about space though - it usually goes out of my head as fast as it went in! HA Happy Birthday a bit early!
