Does this sound good to become a state trooper?

I am going in the ARMY national guard. then going to collage for criminal justice and when i get out of the ARMY does it look OK to get a job as a state trooper?

  1. Depends on what your state requires. Being in the Army won't hurt anything (even if you decide to stay in the National Guard) and college is always good. I would give one piece of advice though, and that is not to go Criminal Justice. Honestly you will learn little that you won't know within three weeks of being hired by a law enforcement agency. A degree in the sciences, mathematics, or economics can do a great deal to help you should you ever decide to go a different direction in life.

    you can't even spell the word college correctly. You spelled it "collage".

  3. looks good to me. But even with a degree and the Army background you still have to go into an academy and get your POST certification goos start tho.

    I started with my Criminal Justice Degree, and was a Sheriff Explorer and a Volunteer, and was a LOSS Prevention officer
