  1. pretty great start :)

breakfast: substitute the jam for natural peanut butter, or almond butter.  protein fills you up longer so that you won't get so hungry you will eat the first thing you eat, and natural peanut butter doesn't have hydrogenated oils in it...

lunch: good choice on the turkey...other lean meats like white-meat chicken would work well too. cancel the cheese...that's unneeded fat.  I would eat a cup of yogurt instead and 1 serving of fruit. Add a salad, too.

snack: try the apple with the peanut butter on it

dinner: excellent choice on the salad.  make sure the pasta is whole wheat.  I wouldn't eat real sausage, though...try a soy product like Morningstar Farms or Boca that resembles the sausage.

  2. What are you trying to limit?  Sugar or cholesterol, or both?  I'm diabetic, and have to watch both.  I personally would skip the jam on toast for breakfast, and the cheese on the sandwich for lunch.  But that's me.  Another suggestion for lunch would be a salad.

  3. skip the store bought jam, it's pure sugar.

  4. yea i think it sounds healthy.  If you snack eat fruit.

  5. you could add more fresh green veggies and fruit.

  6. You could add some juice for breakfast------have a midmorn snack of yogurt-----Dinner maybe a piece of bread if your diet allows and  do not have pork sausage...  Bedtime have a glass of low fat milk....

  7. Wow!  that sounds yummy and healthy! Lots of fiber too. I would use turkey sausage with the dinner I think you can get it with red peppers!~)
