Question

im gonna bring my girlfreind out for a few beers, then get a nice dinner.

and then we will come home and have a few drinks at home and watch a movie.

what ya think?

instead of just havin a few beers go to a bar like TGI Fridays or a sports bar and get a few cocktails until.  I would recommend  ordering a Gombay smash.

The best part about it is all bars are required to serve food so you can get her dinner right there.  Like a breaded shrimp basket with fries.  Those are always good.

Sounds good, but why do people really need alcohol on a night out to make it enjoyable.

Generally, I find if one thing is going to ruin a night out, its alcohol, and no matter how good the cook is, it can also spoil the taste and enjoyment of the meal.

Try doing without the booze, it may well make it much more enjoyable, or just a glass of wine with the meal.
