Does this sound like a good quote?

"Black light in the absence of the night"

I made it up and the meaning of it is, black light is impossible so it doesn't exist, the light isn't there and the night is absent meaning no one is around or there. So it basically its saying there's no hope and nothings there its pretty distorted im still trying to find its true meaning and i know it has a better and more descriptive one.

  1. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but at least it rhymes.

    "Black Light . . .

in the Absence of the Night".

    Yeah, it's got possibilities.

Infrared, Ultraviolet -- you can't see 'em.

  2. i find the quote quite peculiar.

why not , light in the absence of night. meaning that, there's hope and happiness without predicament and sorrow( night).  i think it sounds better.

  3. It's really half a quote.

You either need to preface it:

"What can a hopeless man see?...

    or finish it:

    Endless pools of liquid darkness"

    That type of thing.

It really should be part of a poem for best effect.
