  1. If your looking to become a nanny, go with a legitimate agency where you have to be interviewed  and have a backround check.  Only then will you get the real deal.

      Skip any free site--especially online.

p.s- remember, online rule #1-- never give out ANY personal information

  2. Yes.  This is a scam.  What they will do is send you a check for MORE than the amount you ask, then ask you to send them the difference.  The check will bounce and you'll be out the difference.  A good way to find out if an email such as this is a scam email, is to take a section of the email - copy/paste it in a search and you may very well find the same old, same old - but with a slightly different twist.

  3. £400 is a little less than US$800.  But I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

No specific date of returning to US.  No specific destination on returning to US.  How can a person be returning home, if he was really coming home, to where the nanny lives?  Where is his root?  Where did he originally come from in the States?

  4. It's definitely a scam....do not respond to this c**p....

  5. scam!scam! do not fall for his line he is a con artist [big time] i hope you will not answer this ad

  6. It sounds a bit if-y... Try and see if you can find out more info about this guy without giving him any personal info.

    And 400 pounds is approximately $800 :]

  7. Stay away from any and all people responding to ads from other countries, 10 times out of 10, it is a scam.  Why would he be sending you more than $800.00 american to "secure" you as his nanny.  He has no move dates and has no idea what state you are in.  Childcare is something a person would set up once they have already moved.  They don't move to a town where they have picked a nanny.

  8. It's a scam! In order to receive the 400 pounds (over 800 dollars U.S.) this Mister Anthony will ask you to cash a check he will be sending you and sending part of the cash back to him. The check will be worthless and you will be out money.

It's the e-mail version of the "pigeon drop", an old-time bunco scheme.

  9. i defenetly would not give him any of my personal info....its sounds so sketchy

  10. totally a scam

I can see a picture, so he knows if you are good, but based on the rest of the message, he wants it to make pornography on adobe or something

Why your address?  you would go to his house to be a nanny.

One of Dumbest scams I have ever seen

I would send back an email to him saying got to h**l

  11. if someone needs your address and picture, automatically is a scam

  12. It is a scam.
