Does this sound like he likes me but is shy?

So i know this guy in our group who is pretty outgoing like he will come to a party and go over to people he knows and start talking to them no problemo....but with me its like he will hover around me and not say a word until i finally say hey whats up and only than does it seem he can start talking to me...whats up with this? We know each other for a while now but each time its the same story...than when he is really relaxed and we are all having fun he will tease me and try to get my attention but its that initial awkwardness that i am trying to figure out.Does it sound like maybe he likes me but is shy with me or intimidated?

It sounds like he is probably more intimidated than shy to me. Because if he is outgoing enough around his friends, then maybe he is just the type of person who tenses up around the opposite s*x for no apparent reason and has to be approached first. I think you should just keep talking to him and eventually he'll warm up to you and be the first to strike up a conversation. Good luck!! =)

even if he's shy if he realy like you he'll get over it some day

i believe in guys making the first move

remember easy come easy go

be open socialble and talkative but let him fight his shyness to get to you if he cant make a decision like that he's not worth you

It does sound like he likes you, maybe he 's afraid to start speaking to you in case he makes a fool of himself, maybe he's not sure if you like him the way he does you, and is scared of you rejecting him.
