Okay so i am born on december 31st, and want to have my party just before christmas this year to make it a winter theme party. here is the plan so far: they first come to my house and we start out with some chocolate fondue, then we begin to make some "christmas pizzas" its just making your own pizzas, but i dye the crust green and red (ive done this many times before) and all the toppings are either white, red, or green. then we head downtown to pick up some hotchocolate, then down to a horse and carridge ride around town to see all the lights. then we head to a specialty dessert restaurant to get a christmas/birthday treat. my mom would have allready made arrangements just for them to bring our specially made treats to the tables. then after were done we'll head back to my place to make some gingerbread men, finish off whats left of the fondue, and drink some more hot chocolate. then we would begin on presents. i have this idea to make each girl a tin of homemade christmas treats, wrap them, and put them under my christmas tree for thier party favors also they will have something to open too. once were done with that we'll head downstairs for a sleepover, and some christmas movies. in the morning we'll wake up and have a morning brunch. does this sound okay? do you think my friends will have fun.

i need some advice on a few things:

- what goes well with fondue at that time of year?

- what kind of invitations should i hand out that will fit the theme?

- what snacks should be served during the movie that will fit the theme? (recipes and links would be greatly appreciated)

- and what should be served at brunch that will also work with the winter theme?

- what treats should be made for thier gift? (again recipes and links greatly appreciated)

If theres anything else you think can be added to make this party better, hit me with it! =D

Thanks!

  1. I would get lots of strawberry's seeing as they are red and all. I think maybe a little stocking or christmas tree would be super cute. Maybe be cookies or something like that it may not fit the theme but pop corns great.  This is a super awesome idea especially because I live in Australia and it doesn't snow at christmas its stinking hot and we all walk around in shorts except one year when it hailed and looked like snow!

  2. That seems like a kind of party that you only see in christmas movies nowadays, lol. But that sounds like a great party. They should have plenty of fun. =D

    - For the fondue, you can always have the typical bananas and strawberries. But you can also get like Danish Butter cookies and snicker doodles.

    - For the cards, you're going to have to look that up. Here's a site that has some ideas:

    - Snacks....you can buy or make some Red Velvet cupcakes. Those are usually made only that time of year and it tastes great =D

    - Don't know about the brunch =/

    - How about some Blonde brownies, those are always good and not seen that often:

Also, you don't have to put walnuts in there if you don't want of course.

But you can also make them Snicker doodles:

Good luck to you and your party planning =D
