  1. Well in golf "where your head goes your body follows" ie. if you look up or raise your head you tend to top the ball. You probably figured out that when you first started playing just like everyone else. The main reason for tilting in not so much as 'to the right' but getting your head behind the ball. I think what you really need to know is WHY this helps and then you may not have to tilt your head one day. The reason for this is that your weight should coil and stay behind the ball as long as humanly possible for the maximum amount up distance. Now if you keep your head back to long you could develop a nasty reverse pivot (simple terms 'falling backwards'). So in short if tilting your head helps you keep your weight behind the ball through impact that by all means do so, just watch out to not over emphasize it because it could cause a lot more problems then it's worth.

(by the way i don't think it has anything to do with your shoulder turn. Sorry guy above me :( _)

(p.s.s.      In fact it does not.)

  2. yeah . main benefit more room for a much much larger shoulder turn . if you do make this change use your 3 wood for three maybe four rounds . otherwise spray city . or three good sessions on the range will ingrain . posture change . great way to pick up distance . beats the hexk out of a overpriced driver .  thanks
