  1. Titanic was 882.9ft long many of todays ships are well over 1000ft

  2. That record has been  broken so many times.

That's like saying is the DC-3 still the most modern plane in aviation?

  3. No, It is tiny compared to today's ships. In fact Princess, Royal Caribbean,  Celebrity, Cunard, Crystal, Holland America all have much bigger ships the what the Titanic was. At the present time Royal Caribbean has the largest ship. It is called Freedom of the seas, but they are building a new one that will hold over 6,000 passengers, plus the crew too. I believe it will be called the Oasis.

  4. try googling titanic history

no the modern ships are bigger and longer.

  5. No, the Titanic was exceeded in size by the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth in the 1930's, by the Il de France in 1950's, the QE2 in the 1980's, the QM2 in 2000's, and by a lot of others.

I suggest that you goggle "largest cruise ship" and visit some of the sites of ships operating now, and some in the near future. The Queen Mary 2 has a button at the  bottom of the page, as does the Titanic.

    Regards,

    Dan

  6. No. The record was held by Cunard and their Queen Mary (1 & 2) but then Royal Caribbean beat them with their Freedom Class ships. Look at  http://royalcaribbean.com

  7. Titanic? not by far. The current largest ship is royal Carrebians Independence class followed by Cunards QM2 class. That would be replaced by Rcl:s Genesis ships coming next year Theese ship is well over 350 meters long and 50 meters wide. Johan
