Does tivo work in other countries?

I'll assume you are in the US, and are inquiring about countries other than America.

While the US TiVo may "in theory" work in a foreign country, there are factors working against you.

For one, a US TiVo is NTSC, so you'll have to be in a foreign country that also uses NTSC TVs.  That's not too many.

Second, good luck plugging it into the wall outlet.  Ever see a European wall socket?

Third, even if you overcome those first two, you probably won't get any guide information overseas.
