Does toilet paper really work in cleaning after a bowl-movement for people?

I personally use water. But I cannot understand how people use toilet-paper only… when I do that, the area never gets cleaned up even if I finish half a roll trying to wipe.

I wipe up then I wash up.

Perhaps you need to change your diet!  TP has been around effectively for ages.  You could go get baby wipes the water must be such a hassle

If a bird **** on your arm, would you use a dry paper towel to wipe it off?

it works, but sometimes i DO have to wet it or use moist wipes... just depends on wut i had to eat that day

LOL  I use water too.  Sometimes I use baby wipes.  I am with you, how can you get clean using tp only?????   funny question......isn't being human full of curiosities?????

I have never heard of any one adult using anything other than TP. Unless Depends were involved, then its the same as babies and obviously i totally get that. This is worth checking into.

I use wipes most times or even step into the shower quickly (at home of course) once in a while.  When I started using wipes I was so surprised at what toilet paper left behind.  I'd love to get a be-day.
