Does touch screen of mobile phone last long?

today many mobile phones have touch screen for input.but many say that touch screens are not long lasting and very prone to becoming damaged due to toshock and dust etc.it is also said that touch screens do not work properly after one year of extensive usages.so i want to know does they durable and last long? usages

iheard that its true but i hope i dosnt because im getting a lg prada in a few hours lol

yeh, ive used a few different ones

they are good,, just try get a plastic cover for the screen

and maybe a thin rubber cover if you want to be

really careful but a plastic sheet for the screen you can get

from shops or from the net is fine

just be careful not to drop them, and keep them

well away from water and they are great
