  1. No-go to tools on your bar and internet options, and you can delete cookies,history etc.


  2. I use my anti-virus and it scan my hard drive or a certain file with the tracking cookies and erases them check you anti-virus and go to customize scan and pick the folder with the tracking cookies and it will erase them. I use trend micro cheap and effective.

  5. No. They are stored on the hard drive. Most of the time, tracking cookies are nothing to worry about, they keep track of things you've done on a website so that website can adjust content to suit your needs (say, automatically signing you in, bringing up your shopping cart).

    If you want to clear cookies, you can do so in Tools -> Clear Private Data in Firefox or By clicking Tools -> Internet Options and clicking the Delete button under Browsing history on the General tab.

  7. Do this and you will have less tracking cookies detected by your antivirus/  antispyware  scanner

    - Internet Options

    - Click the Privacy Tab

    - Click the Advanced Button

    - Check the box that says accept first party cookies, you may also check the box that says block third party cookies

    * if the options are greyed out check the box that says "override automatic cookie handling"

    - Click Privacy

    - in the cookies section uncheck the box that says "Accept third party cookies" and check the box that says accept first party cookies
