  1. The "brownish stuff" is still blood.  If its not heavy you can probably go swimming without anything because the chlorine in the pool will kill any germs.  However, the brownish stuff might stain your bathing suit if you are out of the water for too long without a tampon

  2. Because of the pressure of the water, your period slows but it does not stop.

That does NOT mean you don't have to wear a tampon when in a pool!

It is extremely unsanitary to not be protected while on your period in the water. Your period does not fully stop in water; therefore, you still must wear a tampon.

  3. Reading through the additional details, I will have to point out that the brownish stuff is still your period sweety. Most girl's first few periods are brownish throughout, and most women's period end with light days of darker (brownish) secretions.

As to your question. No your period will probably not stop in the water. It might get lighter, you might not bleed as much, but it will probably not stop it all. So unless you are really on one of these last few very light days of your period, I would still suggest wearing a tampon.

  4. It really depends on how heavy it is. But when it is light, it is fine to go swimming. Go ahead and enjoy yourself but just in case have a towel ready for when you get out.

You might wish to try tampons but its not for everybody! Good Luck!

  5. YES ITS TRUE IT DOES BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO WEAR PROTECTION BECAUSE AS SOON AS U STAND UP OUT OF THE POOL ALL OF THE GRAVITY WILL  MAKE "WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE COMING OUT' ALL COME OUT AT ONCE..
