Yes, definitely. Your skin may be irritated by the hair product, and that causes breakouts. Maybe you could try a different gel, or wash your face and hair more often. Also if your not washing your hair frequently, the oils in your hair irritate your skin. I hope this helps!

Yes... if your a girl and you scrunch your hair or contain the curls with gel then it at some point in time is going to touch your face. your face is a very sensitave part of your body and chemicals can harm your face. take it from experiance...

It really depends on the type of gel you use n ur skin condition. For example using one with alot of alcohol may dry up ur skin lacking sum type of moisture, so make sure u wash ur face day n night. I used to have the same problem except i got the acne on my back kuz of all the chemicals n products in my hair n then my hair would rest on my back so it got real oily n itchy n the gel would dry up on my back. So another way you can prevent this problem is by blowdrying ur hair after u put any products in it. Besides preventing the whole acne situation your look will last longer!
