Does usps(united states postal service) deliver to peoples house?

i ordered a item online and i put down my physical street address but that's not where my mail goes it goes to a PO Box is that going to be a problem or what someone help and every time i go check the usps tracking and order thing it says The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on July 11, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

The U.S. Postal Service delivers to both street addresses *and* post office boxes. If you put down your street address when you ordered the item on line, however, then the post office will deliver it to that address.

Your only option if you want it to be delivered to your P.O. Box instead would be to go to your post office and get your mail forwarded from your home address to your P.O. Box. Then the package -- as well as any other mail addressed to your street address -- will go to the P.O. Box instead. If this isn't to your liking, you can always un-forward the mail once the package has arrived.

Next time, just put down your P.O. Box address if that's where you want your order shipped!
