Does uv light damage displays if it does what types does it damage

Depends which side of the UV spectrum it is whether it'll do much damage or not. Short-wave UV is more damaging than long-wave UV. Most UV lights that you find in like e.g. clubs etc. will be long-wave and are not really that damaging...

UV makes plastics go brittle - even uPVC.

Your phone display will only be damaged if left in bright sunlight for a long time.

Yes it displays.An it can cause skin burn an catarracts.(That is why during summer u are told to rub on sun cream to reflect UV .radiation.Then u should not have given me a thumb down at least ur question did not explain itself..Any way,Uv affects monitors.. by making it go darker.(that is why u are advised not to let ur Tv screen face the sun.
