Does verizon buy used phones?

im thinking of getting a new phone from verizon, but im not up for an upgrade. does anyone know if they will give me some credit towards a new phone or money if i give them my old one (which is actually still quite new, less than a year)?

They will not give you credit.  You can sell your old phone on ebay and use some of the money to pay your phone bill.
