Does vitamin water go bad?

I have closed bottles of unrefrigerated vitamin water that are about six months old. Are these bad to drink? How long does it take for vitamin water to go bad?

Water itself does not go bad, its the plastic bottles that do. Over time the plastic  starts to break down and leach into the water. Plain bottled water lasts about 2 years. I would imagine the flavered would not last quite as long. I would drink it soon. I doubt it would hurt you, the vitamins would break down after a while. The flavoring might also start to taste funny.
