If you leave a glass of vodka sitting out for a month, will bacteria get into it, or will it still be drinkable?

  1. The only time Vodka goes bad is when it's coming back up. Man, I always need a drink. Chugger, Lugger, Vodka Hugger. My choice of venom also. ENJOY! But listen to chromatic, if you have people that hang around that share the same shin as us, it might be water, sip first.

  2.   Buy a new bottle, and if you're under legal drinking age, don't worry, the vodka is still good.  It actually tastes better if you're under 21 and you leave it out for a month.  Just make sure you drink the whole thing, and make sure your little brother didn't replace it with toilet water.

  3. alcohol KILLS bacteria. Thats why people used to like only drink it before they boiled there water its always sanitary. but it might not taste so good. take a sip to test it. it wont kill you. if it tastes bad throw it out or give it to a friend on there "lucky day!".

    hope this helps

  4. bacteria already got into it that's why it became alcohol.  but to answer your question:  No, it will never go bad.  As a matter of fact you can preserve other things in vodka to prevent them from going bad.

but dude you sound like the last thing you need is a drink.  for real.

  5. It depends if its uncovered theres a higher chance of something falling into it the taste going away or what not, but if tis in a bottle with lid then i supppose it may take even long to go off. Just test it, take a small sip, and chuck it away if it dont taste right. but why leave vodka out for a month?

  6. no

  7. it will go bad...the alcohol evaporates pretty quickly.  water will be left in the glass

  8. I wanted to answer this last night, but Y/A decided to take one of their famous "coffee breaks" so here's the answer I was going to put, even though I'm sure the vodka is long gone by now.

Sweetie, if you're depressed, go for it. I've had those kinds of days.

You'll be fine, bacteria and mold can't grow in alcohol. If you have a very fine strainer, that would be a good thing to use before you drink it just in case there's dust in it. But if not, it'll still be ok.

Times will get better, I promise ;)

  9. you should've drank it a month ago...either way it's gonna go bad, a glass is a lot to drink.

  10. It will be fine.

Distilled alcohols can't go bad.  They have too much alcohol.
