Does volunteer work look good on a resume???

I just turned 18, never worked and need a job really bad...

Without any paid work experience it is all you have so put it on.  Treat it like a job.  When did you start, are you still doing it, how many hours a day, a week, what did you do, how independent were the duties, anything thing else that you think might be relevant to a potential employer.

Yes volunteer work looks very good on your resume. Depending on the length of work It can show the employer your work ethic, people skills, and many other soft skills. If it is related to the job you are aiming for then it that would be a plus, but if is not still put it on your resume since you have never worked before. It will still show the employer you have some experience.
