Does wakita Oklahoma get a lot of tornado because i am moving their and i heard they do?

Wakita was in the movie, Twister, and Oklahoma is in tornado alley. So I'd say they get their share... but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure their weather alerts out there are some of the best.

Well, I live on OK and we get maybe one or 2 sometimes every year. sometimes none. but it's really nothing to worry about, you just go to a cellar when it gets close to you. lol. i've always been around tornadoes my whole life and its kind of exciting when we get one ... unless it hurts someone.
