Does wal-mart honor marked prices?

Today I went to wal-mart and found a tripod that was marked for .94 cents, i asked the cashier in the photo center if they had to honor the price and he said they did. well my friend bought one right after I did, but they charged him full price (like $20).

well we did the rest of our shopping and before we left, we went to the customer service desk and told them that they should refund him the difference, since i got it for $1.01 after tax. The assistant manager said that they no longer honor their prices. Can they do that??

yes they can. Your item my have been marked incorrectly and because of that one mistake they had to honor that. Your friend however may have gotten one with the correct price. Therefore they could not do the same with his.
