Does walgreens or other drug stores accept 100 dollar bills?

just wondering..too lazy to go to the bank and get it changed into smaller bills lol

  1. Call the location closest to you and ask.


  2. They probably won't just make change for you.  By law, a $100 bill is legal tender and they have to take it if you buy something.  Certainly they shouldn't have any trouble taking it if you're buying any decent amount in the store, over $50 worth of goods for example.  If you're buying a 25 cent pack of gum just to get it changed, they may simply say they don't have enough change to do it and ask you to get it changed elsewhere.

  3. Yes they do but you may have to wait at the register while they call a manager to look it over and approve it.
