Does walmart tire and lube do other service?

My service engine soon light is on can they check it?

why would you want walmart touching your car just imagine a produce stacker taking your engine apart or diagnosing an electrical problem

take it to a mechanic who knows what hes doing

and yes auto zone will tell you what the code says but not what it means because they dont know there not mechanics so your still gonna end up with a real mechanic

Take it to autozone I think will still so that suff.  I have not heard of a walmart that will do that.

i wouldnt suggest wal-mart auto center to anyone but going on what you asked...some walmarts will check it but i would really rather you to go to autozone and get it checked for free....you can do some research on the net to find out how to check it your self -- tool free...i had the same problem with a cadi of mine and i did my research and found out i could check and pull codes by turning the key foward, not on, just in the on position, and then hold the off button on my ac unit and the higher temp button and the codes would blink on my dash...then i went to do research on what the codes meant and found out everything that i needed to fix....it was a shorted wire....if i had went some where to get it fixed the machanic would have charged me 50 to figure out what was wrong then 25 and hour for labor ... then add on the price if i needed parts.....all in all...either go to autozone or just do research and figure out if you can pull the codes yourself...hope i helped

You're better off leaving your vehicle in the hands of experienced local tech shops to diagnose the check light, not Wal-Mart.
