Does water help stop your period? And when I say stop I dont mean it literally, I mean will swimming help lighten the flow?

  1. No.

    For some women (not all) the pressure of the water on their genitals can hold the lips pretty tightly together, and keep everything in there... but as soon as that pressure is released when you get out of the water, anything that's dripped down and collected inside you there will start to come out.

    Wear tampons for swimming: you're still gonna have the same flow.


  2. It will slow it down from flowing as much its just like when you sit in the bath tub for awhile specially with hot water but it wont stop it would get back to the way it was
