I need something that'll intensify the color of my eye shadows, too make them more bright/dark. :] Can i use water for this, or will it ruin my shadows? If it doesn't work what product can i buy that will accentuate the colors? Something with a decent price please. ;D

  1. Use a primer on your lids before you put the shadow on. Like you do when you are painting a wall, you apply a primer so the color comes out brighter. So, what I would suggest is that you use a eye shadow that is slightly lighter than your skin tone then apply the eye shadow. That should work for you.

  2. Adding water you your eyeshadow can promote bacteria to grow. Try loreal HIP (high intensity pigments) ot MAC pigment powder

  3. yea it does work

  4. Hello,

I would stay away from water because it does produce bateria into your eyeshadow colors.

What you can do is use a mixing medium. It's fairly cheap and simple to use... buy Glycerin at Walgreens, Target or Walmark... and use a empty water bottle that's clean. Use a cap full of Glycerin and add two cap full of water... mix it together in the empty water bottle.

When you want to use an eyeshadow with your mixing medium... grab your brush and hand... and apply the eyeshadow on your hand and pour a little bit on your hand with the eyeshadow and apply... that's the cheapest way to do it.
