Does water on Europa have the same physical properties as water on Earth?

  1. From everything we think we understand about the universe, there should be no difference whatsoever between the properties of water anywhere in the universe.  We have observed nothing that would lead us to think that the nature of atomic and sub-atomic particles vary according to location or any other variable. Water from earth and from somewhere else would behave exactly the same: under normal circumstances, and under extraordinary circumstances too, even in black holes.

    Of course, we cannot be absolutely certain of anything: Science is about seeing reality as it IS, not as we would prefer it to be. But we do have some sound basis for our expectations in that we have been able to see and test many 'alien' materials that we have found  in the form of meteors.
