never had my cartilage pierced but waxing your eyebrows doesnt hurt at all. it just leaves a red mark for a little bit (:

If you're just piercing the top of your ear, it doesn't hurt at all. It's a little pinch and is over in a split second.

If you're going for an industrial, through the bottom of the ear, or something like that, it might hurt a little more, but it's still bearable.

Nooo it doesn't hurt any where close to that.  I mean waxing your eyebrows can burn a little bit after they are done, but it does not "hurt".  You will be fine.

The worst part about getting your cartilage pierced, as it is with any piercing, is the anticipation of having it done but it doesn't hurt to have it done. The part that even causes a little bit of pain is right after but it goes away pretty quickly.
