...Because I know a bunch of wannabes who think so.

Don't you just want to prove those people wrong by beating on them?

  1. Wearing TAPOUT and Affliction apparel defiantly makes you an MMA fighter!  It works the same way that my Nike's made me faster when I was 10.  I also have a bumper sticker on my car that adds 30 horsepower!  O.K. O.K, I'm done making fun.

Here's the thing about the fight apparel; It's the closest thing to a jersey you can get.  If you're a true MMA fan, you want the sport to grow so you can see better competition.  With that comes the casual fan who thinks they're an expert because they know the name Kimbo, and had a party at his house during the last Pay-Per-View.  That same guy buys the apparel to help support his lie about being a serious fan of MMA.  It's no different than my sister who is a die hard Green bay Packer fan because she has a Favre jersey and knows that one of "them guys" used to play for Ohio State. That's her knowledge, Favre and a guy played for Ohio State, she doesn't know anything else about em' but shes' a die hard fan! Just like the guy rocking a TAPOUT hat!

  2. when i wear my fight zone shirt the shamrocks and the gracies flintch......roflmao

  3. yes..... yes it does

  4. Everyone I've ever trained with hates that stuff as much as me and apparently you as well.  Makes Hooter's almost unbearable if you go there to watch a UFC event.  I've only met/saw/trained with one person in my life in a Tapout shirt.  He's one of the only people who can wear one and you not be annoyed by it.  I guess because he has actually fought and actually trains =P

  5. I know what you mean man. But you gotta remember, some people are just supporting the sport. I do MMA though, and when I see some punk kid wearing an "American Fighter" or "Tapout" shirt it really wants me to put them to the test. I bet half of the people who wear it anyway doesn't know how to execute any submissions if told to do them. But even though it pisses me off some times, I gotta remember, maybe some of them are supporting the sport.

  6. No way. If they want to be a MMA fighter, they have to get a tattoo.

  7. What are you talking about? Everyone who wears TapouT or Affliction MUST be an MMA fighter. If you tried beating on them, you'd probably wind up in the hospital. I mean, if they weren't fighters or at least training in the sport, why would they try to mislead us like this?

They wouldn't. It just doesn't add up, I tells ya.

  8. u should really only wear it if u are a fighter or a fan of fighting...but tons of stores in the mall are selling them now so ppl will prolly wear them that doesnt have a clue abot mma

  9. If I see a guy who is wearing a TapOut Shirt or Affliction or Warrior Wear or just any MMA fight gear at all I usealy walk and just randomly ask MMA questions and just pretty much try and see how much they know...and if its someone who just answeres "Yeah" to everything I say I just bust out a tottal lie and if they agree i drill there ***...Call em posers and **** or the most popular name for fakers... Noobs...Its fun but also I met some ppl who actualy know ****...

But mostly you will see ppl wearing the MMA shirts to impress the ladies...and some b*****s are stupid enough to fall for that ****...I seen it the other night at the bar...this dude walks up and ask this chick if she like "UFC FIGHTING" and she said OMG yes and he was like yeah I dont fight for the UFC but i fight UFC...So she was pretty much on the dudes nuts all night...it was funny as h**l.

  10. I come from small town with only one mma gym. we have a good record and are quite proud of our accomplishments. how ever a new clothing store just opened in the mall, guess what they sell, Tap Out gallore. These people that wear the clothes of Tap Out and Affliction walk around like there pretty bad. I see them and call them out. Do you even know what that means. they walk up smug. Then I tell them to come down and train. same story "yeah I'll come down and show you whats up" they never show! sad sad sad

  11. I would wear Tapout or Affliction shirts if they weren't so hideous and overpriced.

  12. Yes , but I try not to so I can be all enlightened and humble and sh*t because as REAL martial artists we are supposed to do that I guess , but d**n its tempting to beat the living c**p out of those fckers!

  13. You may dislike them, but they are supporting the sport, therefore supporting the fighters. And if you are a fighter, you should have some type of appreciation for them. Stay humble.

    E

  14. Of course they do. The MMA Fairy blesses each one with just enough knowledge to think they're an MMA fighter. Then they fight and find out they truth. If they're good then they move up and eventually come to MMA, UFC, etc. This is how they keep knew fighters coming in.

  15. I'm sure they think i does. As for beating them up or calling them on it not really. Eventually they will get taken out for it, and eventually people will start judging MMA by all the posers gettin schooled, just like all of the studentsof Mcdojo's, and people who never trained TKD or karate that claimed to be black belts, that got beat up and trashed those two styles reputations.

I actually look forward to this day, then all of the poeple that slam karate and TKD on here will know how it feels.
