  1. No, they do not.  They don't touch or affect your eyes any more than looking through a window.

  2. Seriously, where do people come up with these ideas?  All they will do is create clearer vision. No other ill affects on the eyes. Otherwise we would have a bunch of people who look like zombies roaming the world. :)

  3. No, there would be no possible way that could happen.  The muscles behind the eye are very well designed.

  4. nope, they do not seep back into the sockets. i've been wearing glasses like forever (till recently :)) and my eyes are still in place, and not seep back.

so dont worry. glasses just pieces of glass/plastics that adjust and correct your vision to see clearer. there is no way that it would be able to alter the eyes. no worries. :)

  5. Eyeglasses do not change the shape, size, or location of your eyes in any way.  I do understand where people get this idea from though.  If a person is nearsighted then they would need a minus lens to correct it.  If you look at a person's eyes through a minus lens they will appear smaller than normal.  If a person is farsighted a plus lens is used to correct it and the the eyes will appear larger than normal.
