  1. Dont worry about the weight stuff dude. I just set my buddy up with a burton blunt 147 and it said the weight max was like 140, my friend is like 170. Your not going to break a snowboard< THey are built to last. If your jsut starting out get a deck that goes up to your atoms apple. Thats should make learing eaiser


  2. Snowboards sizes are based on your height, weight, and the type of snowboarding you will be doing (eg people doing jumps and tricks will want slightly shorter boards).

    A 3lb difference won't matter :)

    I'd recommend you go to a store and talk with a salesperson, especially if this is your first time buying a board (rather than buying online)
