  1. I suppose that depends on what you wet your hair with. It isn't good to wash your hair to often because it is washes away the good oils in your hair and dries it out. Also using heating utensils like a hair dryer or curling/ flat iron can be very damaging.

  2. only if you are rough with it when it's wet like tearing through with a comb

  3. No, no that I know of.

One great advantage of wetting your hair right down to the scalp on a hot day in hot weather can make you feel deliciously cool.  Give it a try.  It makes you feel so refreshed.

  4. If your hair is wet for long periods of time, it can dry your scalp. Hence the hairdryer.

  5. just wetting is fine

to much shampooing can lead to damage

  6. Yes, many

  7. it depends on what your hair type is. dry hair needs moisturizers instead of water, because shampoo or not, the water washes out the oils, making hair break and the scalp flake. for oily hair, its pretty similar. when a person washes their oily hair one day, and when it dries they go get it wet out in the pool without shampoo, the scalp will start sweating more then it needs to and smelling unpleasant, asking for another wash.

  8. Wetting your hair probably wont damage it or make it any better but it can make it notty when you brush it.

  9. NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  10. i don't think so. But i heard that its bad if you wet your hair like everyday.

  11. well you have to wet it in order to take a shower lol.  but i heard that wetting it and then falt ironing it damages it without blowdrying it first-it fry's your hair.

  12. its fine!!!! dont worry.

i straighten my hair when its wet and then let it dry naturally...works a DREAM.

  13. I think it should be ok as long as you use shampoo.

  14. well it takes longer to dry i guess

  15. I wet my hair (very short, coarse, and thick) to make it lie down flatter.  Water by itself won't damage your hair unless you have extremely hard water which could dull the shine.

Generally you damage your hair by over-drying and over-dyeing.  The hair that grows out will be healthy.

  16. well washing ur hair every day is definitly not good! my hairstylist said if u want really nice healthy hair, u have to wash it every 2 days with a shampoo and very little conditioner becuase to much can make ur hair oily... as for wetting ur hair once its dry just to play around with it doesnt cause any damage.

  17. yeah but if you clean you hair every day your hair will fall off.

  18. Wetting your hair will not damage it directly, but it does soften the hair and make it more flexible, so never brush your hair when it is wet or do anything that is anything but gentle, as wet hair will stretch and break easier than dry hair will.

  19. Nope. It's fine.
