I'm after making a lovely bowl of Angel Delight with Soya milk--- now I realise that Whey Powder is listed as the THIRD ingredient (relatively high up) in the AD powder. Being a derivative of milk does this Whey powder contain lactose (in which case I must select a different desert...awwww)?

  1. Liquid whey has about about 50% of the lactose, and whey powder has lactose in in an unstructured crystalline condition.

  2. It contain low lactose.  I'm lactose intolerant & it's never bothered me.

  3. Yes, it is a milk product.

However, if you're lactose intolerant, just take a few Lactaid tablets before you eat dairy - they work great.
