There are many good pro golfers in America but it seems Tiger Woods who is exceptionally get preferential treatment in coverage. You never hear anyone say tiger made a bad shot but there is always an excuse made for him. I understand his golf etiquette is very bad at times.

  1. Have you watched any of Johnny Millers commentary regarding Tiger?

Etiquette aside, Tiger is #1. When someone else becomes #1 they will get the lions' share of attention. I don't really care for the fist pump-o-ramma all the time, but I think I understand the reasons behind it.

As for the initial underlying question, how would anyone really ever know that? Maybe it runs that deep, maybe it doesn't. What does it matter?

  2. I think that all players make bad shots. and some deserve an excuse. others don't. If you know what you did wrong during a swing after impact, it's too late. You must fix it before the swing. If one doesn't excuses will be made by them or for them. People make excuses for tiger because they don't understand why he misses when he does. If you look close though, when he misses he usually catches it fat or thin, but never on the hosel, or the toe.  If you swing when a camera flash goes off, it is still your fault for not stopping the swing, not the fault of the camera. I say no excuse is warranted. A bad shot is a bad shot for one reason or another, and for no one to blame but the golfer him/herself.

  3. Is your real name Phil Mickelson?
