Does window mirror film reduce light indoors?

And does it look ridiculous if you don't do all of your windows? Our house is very close to the road. I'd like to have privacy in the living room but still have the light. I don't want to put the stuff on the upstairs windows though. Just in the bay window downstairs because it is at eye level.

  1. it will have a visible difference with the tint.  Install the tint in areas where the windows are nearby to each other.


  2. Generally with reflective films consumers do all windows in the same room. You do not have to go silver reflective. You might consider a dark neutral grey reflective that won't be as noticed from the street.
