Easy question.

I just left work and am headed home. Here's my issue: I just dragged a bunch of data files from the C drive and onto a usb drive. When I get home I will work with these files. I admit that I am getting too accustomed to OS X (which I use at home). In OS X dragging will always COPY and not MOVE the files when dragging from one volume to another. What about on PC? Did I just permanently move those files onto my pen drive and off the C? I dragged with the mouse.

  1. Windows will normally move the files if you drag and drop on the same drive but will copy if you drag them to a removable drive.
