I upgraded from xp to premium vista and actually noticed my internet with internet explorer 7 worked alot better than it did with xp. People I work with with hate Vista with a passion for some reason?? I recently got a quad core pc with vista already installed, and it works perfect. Do you feel the same way i do?? Is it that bad of a operating system?

  1. YES! Vista is slow as h**l! If you're looking to upgrade go to Windows XP 64 bit.

  2. There are just better and more logical options out there in terms of price, performance, and features.

However, it is definitely bearable if you have a very good computer. Your computer seems like it can handle it (since it is quad-core and recently bought). Try to have at least 4GB RAM to ensure smooth performance in Vista.

Your computer can run smoothly with only 2GB RAM in XP though. Vista is more of a RAM-hog. Check how much RAM you have, and decide for yourself if you want to stick with Vista or downgrade to XP.

  3. vista is perfect better and faster than windows xp , well i use Mozilla browser

  4. Its a very good operating system if you computer has good specs. most people have crappy brand name computers or old piece of sh&**t ones so they go and cry on how its so bad but its actually their computer cannot handle that good of a system

  5. I also think it's great, if you check out the Mojave experiment you will find that most people who actually use Vista love it (when they don't know it's vista).

  6. In my opinion, it is a wonderful operating systems. eventhough i rarely have problems with noncompatible software.

vista is good but you have to have a computer with good specs.

    ex. 2gb ram at least..

    enough hard drive space etc..
