I've read that it takes at least 40 calories per slice off.  It's oil and yes, it is fattening.

I think so and besides that I dont like that greasy feeling around your mouth and how it tastes, so I always wipe when theres too much grease

Yes, it helps but not a huge amount. Any time you can eat less grease it is better for you. Also, by doing this I think it gives the pizza a better taste.

To be honest, wiping the grease off of pizza doesn't make that much more of a difference considering that there's still the bread, cheese, toppings, then the soda that's gonna be more than likey drunk with the pizza. And then more than one slice will probably be eaten so....wiping the grease off? I wouldn't bother.

I do it when I eat fast food pizza (domino's, pizza hut, etc).  I'm sure it helps a little, but not enough to really effect anything.

Or you can use a paper towel to get the grease off by pressing on it and all the nasty griddy,fatning calories will show on the paper towel

I really think it does. My best friends mom ate pizza once, and she didn't wipe off the grease, and that night she was really sick, she had to go to the hospital. So yea I guess it does.

I'm not really sure, I do it all the time just because excess grease is gross.
