Does working online really work?

I have heard of websites that you fill out surveys or something and make money online. How do I go about doing this and is it just a scam? how do i sign up?

before i was a successful business man (online) I use to fill out surveys at the age of 15. Its a complete waste of time. Some pay you in points..some ask you 50 q's then say that you are not qualified after they got all there info. I truly believe online is the way to go. I am 23 and I make a 6 figure income by doing work online but if you ask me do not even get invlolved with surveys

Yes working online works, provided that you get with the right company and depending on how much income you need.  There are different ways to work on line and each way brings in different amounts of income from a few hundred dollars a month, to minimum wage earnings, and then there's ways to make a sufficient amount of income.  Each way requires different things you need to do.

Now as far as your detailed message and question goes, Survey's would fall under the catagory of making a few extra dollars, maybe up to a couple hundred dollars depending on how many survey's you actually complete and what they expect from you.  I think it's important to understand exactly what is involved in survey's, because it's not just as simple as "fill out a survey and get paid" that's the scenerio of it, but there's a lot of other things you need to know of what exactly goes on and what happens.  Here's an article that I think you should read on survey's and exactly what happens and what goes on.  The article also will address you main issue of "Does working online really work?" Stay away from survey sites. You'll end up spending alot of time infront of the computer for just about nothing. Your better off if you have a fultime job already trying something like ebay or avon which can both be done on the computer.

With the right company and products...YES.

If you are looking for quick rich schemes etc NO

1. Choose a product/company that is well known and wanted.

Weight loss products for example.

2. Set up an online shop if the company dont give you one automatically

3. Market/Tell others about your product.

(why do u think Mcdonald's - Coca Cola - etc still want to be the name seen at top events?)

4. Deliver your goods asap to customers.

5. Check out Godaddys online shop etc where they allow you to take visa etc and charge you a monthly fee and not a percentage per sale. Check it out

I would not go for it, more than likely, as one post said, you will have to fill out Lord knows how many surveys and get meager earnings from it.

Stick with a real life job, which these days no one seems to want.

The economy may suck, but there are still jobs out there, just need to keep looking.

NO ITS A WASTE OF TIME, SURVEYS WILL PAY YOU BUT ONLY AFTER YOU FILL OUT AROUND 500 OF THEM. THE PAY IS NOT REALLY GOOD. NOW OTHERS THAT REQUIRE YOU TO PAY FOR A FEE JUST SO THEY CAN SHIP THE ITEM TO YOU IS A SCAM. YOU PAY 30 OR MORE FOR A PACKAGE OF 2 SHEETS IN THERE. NOT WORTH IT.
